Nissan R35 GT-R Based Crossover SUV? ~ Oh please No :~(
The folks at Japan's Best Car Magazine, being the great speculators that they are have done some speculative renderings of a (gasp) possible R35 GT-R based crossover SUV. I doubt there is much truth behind this. but the magazine is speculating that that the that GT-R based SUV would be output around 480ps, be a 5-door hatchback and target Porsche Cayenne buyers.

1. The door handles...(um really wtf)
2. The interior
3. Horrible motor from 03-06
4. The reinforcement bar in the trunk is stupid.
5. Ugly till 06.
If these were better, id like it.

IMO much worse than a Cayenne. The Cayenne is much more subtle and actually looks like an SUV instead of a lifted sedan. Not to mention the fact that they have extremely advanced suspension technology that makes it usable on the road and off of it.
This tries to look aggressive like the GTR, but failed miserably since crossover SUVs are practically the salad-tosser of all automobiles. Nissan also has a whole lot of work to do if they want to be up to par with a Cayenne with this new SUV.

Yeah I own/owned a Z31. I have driven countless Z32s and Z33s. I think the Z33 is far from Nissans biggest mistake.....I think that award should go to the Armada.

Pajero was sold here ..rebadged as the Montero. I loved my old 1995 Montero when I had it in Nebraska...in the winters it was awesome..much better than the X5 4.4i that I traded it in for.
I completely agree on trying to make something that competes with the Cayenne, but as far as that goes, fck that.

The GT-R got car-of-the-year in Japan in both the overall status and, of course the sports car status. Maybe this is their attempt to get SUV-of-the-year! Pretty feeble though.

Ah no... i could have bought a Z in 06 but i chose to get my STI.
Better than a Z in every way. I can also bring three friends and demonstrate how much an STI is better than a 350Z.
1. Who cares about the door handles. You haven't been on this site as long as i have. We had a serious thread bout this years back. And you are really gonna tell me that if you follow the side of a 350z, those handles look like their in place.
2. Your "award winning motor" is from a France and was put in the z cause its so cheap. Im sure you saw all the issues these motors have had with boost. 2 of my friends got rid of their cars after being fed up with the Z's engine and its inability to make large hp.
3. Of coarse it serves a purpose. To make you brag about how good a z handles even though its only rwd competitor (the s2000) handles 100% better.
