i defenitely agree with what you are saying, with age comes responsibitity and wisdom, and responsibilities aren't to high when you live at home.. but i don't think it was another crack at you not having loving parents..

Nice car. I've always wanted a twin turbo C5. So much sexier than the C6.

LOL at U! whats funny is, i am willing to put money on it that your parents bought you the gto, and you traded it in on the z06, so really your parents bought you the z06, and with you saying that you are looking at buying a "cheap" house and owning that car...i cant wait until life kicks you in the teeth, and you post about it here...the thread will be funny as hell. Also grow up, i still live with my parents but i pay them $300 a month rent, and thats becuase my parents love me, my dad has already told me no $300 = get the **** out! on top of my new car, and bills! i am also willing to put money on that you dont have a job!

    other than that nice car!

WTF? Where the hell did you come up with that chit? I was simply making a positive comment in his direction. Where the hell did ya see me mention your name and why do you think everything has to include you? I even mentioned about our son and the age 16 and him being 20... nothing about you at all.

You thought I was smarter than that? Your right I am but your not looking so brilliant responding back about your family that no one has any concerns of. My post had absolutely nothing to do with you. You should know by now that I do not post negative things very often and when I do it is in defense only and never will I mention family. You were no where in my opinion what so ever.

Aren't you like 30 something? You definitely should not be living with your parents unless other circumstances were there but then again that's really no ones business either. If that is your age group so how the hell can that reflect on you? This kid is 20 years old which in my book is still a child and still needs to be at home. Yeah I moved out when I was 17 and had to bust my azz doing everything the hard way. If he has good caring parents that don't mind him staying there then I would stay there and plan smarter than I did.

Remember before everyone jumps my azz... Just because your 18 does not mean you know WTF your doing nor does it mean that your still not your parents baby.

I am old as dirt so my perspective will vary from most of you but I meant no offense to the youngins from my opinion.

Thanks for your wisdom Sir and I wanna ride in that car you have one day.

QD I really have no issues with you and if you re-read what I typed you will see that I meant nothing in your direction. If your just looking for a bich match or a pecker contest then call me and leave it off this guy's post.

Otherwise have a wonderful day and my opinion remains the same.

    Your right man...

Something I never had and envy to the fullest. The kid has it made and I think he knows it so no matter what anyone else says I don't think he really gives two chits about it.

Nice car! It's a ton of fun to drive, even stock.

To everyone else, if I could do it all over again I'd stay at home as long as I could also. I was on my own at 18 and worked for everything I own.

P.S. If anyone wants to buy a heavily modded Z06, PM me - lol.

If I read your comment wrong, then I apologize. But the line....about having loving parents looks like an indirect shot at my comment about my parents loving me even though I didn't sponge off them.

I bet you were a lot more of a man at 18 than he is now (at 20). More respect goes your way than his. I guarantee you that. I'm not really worried about whether or not you have any concern for my family. If I did, you'd be the first I'd talk to about them. You're not. I believe my family is doing quite well without your help. I respect NO respect for rich little spoiled kids. Especially ones with their little noses up in the air.

I have no issues with you either. That's why I surprised at your post (and what I thought the intent was). I figured you'd understand what I was saying about the value of learning life by experiences and not by alternate media sources. And I never intended to engage you with ill-will until I read (misunderstood) your post.

And I don't have your number, so I can't call you. Lolol. Later, QD.

Actually if you ever hear me point in that direction is in the general direction of all the stupid fuking parents (mainly my own) that most of these kids have now a days that take no responsibility to keep their kids out of drugs, jail and other stupid things.

We are a huge contributor to needy families year round and most of them are because of lousy inconsiderate pieces of chit parents a lot like mine were. Nothing meant in your direction but more against 80% of the world today. Most of the time we help feed and cloth children I find it very hard not to knock the living fuk outta the parents sitting on their azz's while I feed them too.

I guess it is a built in hatred that I will never get rid of.

Take care, no offense taken here.

    nice car man

im 20 im back at home with my parents now, i moved out when i was 17 been out for the past 3 years, and fell on my face and now trying to get back up again.

Not bashing anyone or there views, but i think there might be just a little difference in our Economy,Job market,Society, and life in general, than it was 15-20 years ago. Look at the the chaos and **** thats going on in society now, from demonited sick ****s shooting places up and whatnot, i got a feeling with a little more love and maybe just maybe some more time at home, would helped them out, but who knows. but for the people to come in here and bach someone cause he has a family that allows him to stay and he feels ok at this point in time to be there than thats fine, dont bash someone cause there not ready to go out into the world and become a "man" as some of you are trying to say, its a load of ****. Cause alot of yall arent acting like men by the things your saying.

You guys are funny on IA. I have a job. I work for myself. Im in the import/export business. Too many people to reply too. To Trans axle, you think 300$ a month is teaching you any kind of responsibility? Thats a joke. Quick Dodge, you might dwarf me financially, but my family, I highly doubt it. I havent recieved money from my parents sense I was 14. The gto was my dads, well the loan was in his name, so i just payed him, then on the trade-in i have a co-signer. Im well aware of the "real world", I just dont have a reason right now to move out. My family doesnt bother me, and I enjoy living at home for now, but once I turn 21 I will be moving out. There is too many trolls in this forum that just search around threads just to post something "clever" to make them feel good about themselves, when in reality they have no life, friends, etc. I would agree with many of you if I was given everything, but I dont. I hate spoiled rich kids that are given everything, those are the ones that wreck their nice cars and get arrested for drugs and etc. I have a perfect record, and a perfect driving record. I respect everything I OWN, because I worked for it. Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone, and to everyone else

Quick dodge please explain to me what you consider the "real world." And I believe I state im aware of the Real World, not experienced it. If I was living by myself, with a house or apt, would I still have a 600$ a month car payment, most likely yes. Cars are one of my few interests, so id spend the money on a car that I would enjoy. And by experiencing the real world, do you solely mean living on my own? Yes I could afford a apt payment, but what would be the point when I have a place to stay for free, it would be stupidity to move out just so I can troll around threads and say "I am experiencing the real world cause I live in on my own"

Congrats on your purchase, LIVE AT HOME FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN LOL Seriously living on your own is overrated. I have a nice apartment and eventually going to get a house, but still , the money in food, rent, etc etc would be enough for me to yeah you get the idea.

My rent alone is 1200 and I could only imagine what Id do with that if I didnt have to pay it every month LOL

Wow. Proud of a lack of manhood. The point would be to know you can make it without Mommy and Daddy's money. To know you can be your own man and not Mommy and Daddy's little boy. You're thought processes are the reason why I know you know nothing about the real world.

Nice comeback. I've never been talked to like that before. Wonder where you learned this gem. Later, QD.

I realize that, theres marriage, kids, food, other bills besides apt and car/car insurance, the list goes on forever.

Arent you the one who said don't doubt so much?

So in order for you to feel like a man you had to move out and lived on your own, you must of been very insecure about yourself when you were younger...

Yes I am. But in this case, as in the previous "doubting" case, I'm pretty sure of myself.

Insecure? About what? If knowing that I can survive this "real world" without being dependent on Mommy and Daddy is insecure, then sure. With every post, you solidify yourself in the world of the spoiled little rich girl. You have no idea of what being a real man is all about.
