So I went up with Tony (CarbonGS) yesterday to Paul's Custom Exhaust in Snellville, GA to get a custom "dual" exhaust done on my 1.8T. It ended up taking longer then I originally thought so the car stayed there overnight. Here are a few pictures of what went down

This is what my exhaust consists of now:

- Evolution Racewerks Test Pipe
- Techtonics Tuning 2.5'' Downpipe
- Paul's Custom 2.5'' Exhaust
- Magnaflow XL Turbo Series Muffler
- Dual Magnaflow Oval Resonated Tips

The day started out well...for the first 2 minutes.

As soon as Tony and I left to get some grub we got a phone call from Paul saying that he had a coolant leak. We drive back fast and helped Paul take off the lower pan cover. This is what we saw when it came off:

The culprit of a smell that I have not been able to find for MONTHS

This is what we saw after we lowered the car back to ground level. The culprit of the leak was a coolant overflow tank line that was "not reconnected" after a recent paint job was done under the hood.

Paul got started on the piping by taking off all the old stuff.

Here are some shots of the old pipes

new piping

Me and the muffler man

Went back inside and Paul had installed the new muffler

Here's what one of the new tips looks like.

Now for Today:

Tony has a few more pictures that I will get from him later (including the finished under body shots), but I snapped a few. Please excuse the terribly filty car. It will be detailed within the next few days for the show on Saturday.

Here's the muffler and the driver's side tip and the path for the passenger side:

Follow the pipes for the passenger side:

Keep on going:

...and now the FINAL PRODUCT:

Now before anyone says anything. I KNOW it is a fake dual exhaust, I wanted it for looks. If I ever go BT ill do a QTP Cutout in the DP for minimal back pressure I cant imagine less back pressure though, its already LOUD.

For those who dont know me, a quick shot of the dirty (literally) dub :P
