That's an air to air intercooler. So yes, certain kinds of paint will restrict the flow through the fins.

im only going to be pushing 7-8psi. the intercooler was put on so i could cut the bumper around it. the ic is freakin huge! it should be off by time for the V meet on thw 6th.
