i'm not quite done with it yet... what's black will be gloss black. i may end up with carbon stuff later on down the road, but the miata hood is already ultra light, and i can't see spending 700 dollars for a hood made of 100% carbon in order to shave off 7 lbs or so... same with the trunk.

the fiberglass hoods with one layer of carbon that most folks get actually weighs more than the factory hood (aluminum) and i especially won't buy something strictly for the look. that's a dumb reason to spend 350 dollars.
