Cool you got it from a guy in Newnan? I have seen it for sale and was wondering when someone was gonna snatch that one up.

    Nice ride and Congrats.

Nice. What width tires are those? They look like they have enough sidewall, now to get some with a wide track. Clean Firebird (I think firebird sounds a hell of a lot less redneck than Trans Am)

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

well depends how you always drive...drive like a normal person and you can get 20 -24mpg....now if you try to run it every place..hahah try more like 8-10 depending on the car....i love stangs, get it there in the 20 range i would say just depending how you drive, just be more responsible

lol @ the previous owner putting monster all-season tires on the back to make it 'look' like a dragster.

    Thumbs up

Jason, I hate you. At least you took my advice for once! hahahahaha I told you these things are a hell of a lot of fun!!!!! Gas mileage sucks, but once you get over that you can really have fun with them. Just buy a crappy import beater for the daily driver and keep the T/A as your drag car.
I still hate you and it is OFFICIALLY (if you keep this car for more than a week, which I'm hoping) my goal in life to beat your car. Finally some motivation to do things to my firebird. And for the guy that posted on page 1 of the thread. Firebird is a hell of a lot more redneck sounding than Trans Am. And for all the haters, go to wikipedia and read the history of the firebirds and trans ams. I think after you read it, you may be impressed.

    -Danielle

p.s.- oh yea Jason, if you plan on keeping that car, go to www.gafba.com and become a member.

lol, me too. There was a super redneck kid that I went to highschool with. He had a 68 firebird and that became his nickname. Everyone including the teachers called him "Firebird"
