Default TopSpeed Time Attack - Winter Updates!

This is the last couple pictures from the last time attack in West VA in 2007.

Its been under the knife these last couple months.

Time for some winter off season updates...

Quick update: The set of Sparco Circuit's showed up today, and were too small. They were just uncomfortable for me to sit in. So I put them up for sale and sold them in under 3hrs, guess I priced them too low.

The good thing is I was very happy that I sold them, and it worked out the way it did. While I was at PRI in Orlando I got a chance to try out and sit in tons of different seats. I can honestly say after sitting in 30 different seats from 5 different manufactures that the RaceTech seats fit me the best.

So today I ordered a set of RT4009WHR. A bit pricey at $1100 each, but worth every penny.

If you ever get a chance I would highly recommend trying out each seat first before buying one. Seats are alot like clothes, in that two different seats both the same size will not fit the same. But when you do find that one that fits just right, the cost doesn't matter.

    This is the new hotness

New wheels are on it.. and I have decided to switch suspensions yet again.

This time I am going with a full Competition Racing setup from JRZ. They are custom length struts designed for my car since it sits so much lower. They are also 3way adjustable, so I have my high and low speed adjustments seperate.

Wheels are 18"x10" +38offset enkie RPF1. The fronts I had to run a 5mm spacer to clear the brake calipers.

New pics of the manifold... I am not finished with it as you can see. I am contemplating trying to find some kind of clear cover or lexan maybe. To make the top plate of the intake manifold. I think the velocity stacks are just too pimp to cover up. Just not sure how it would hold up to heat and boost... humm well see.

Like I posted earlier the throttle body has been move to where the ac compressor used to be. I did this for a few reasons, but my main reason was so I could make really short intercooler piping.

    Here are the pics..
