No. Its a 4 cyl so its not an rb and the turbo would be on the other side if it was a rwd sr.

The valve cover looks alien to me. Not 4g, sr20, ca....
Probably some old junky mazda pickup motor.
o sorry not to sure on the nissan motors.....
just looked alot like an sr style and the turbo made me think that more so
it almost looks like the motor is in backwards due to the fact the rear axle is offset like a front axle would normaly be suggesting that the rear in this case is run off of a transfer case and the front may be the rear axle.....which would mean the turbo is on the correct side for that engine....dunno though....ka24?

I say neither, its not a sr or rb. It cant be a 2jz, the 2jz oil cap is in the middle on the right side.
could it be volvo 5 cyl?

Volvo 5 cylinder has the oil filler cap pretty much in the middle of the valve cover.

if he worked on them he'd have known i right away. idk how he figured it out. i just looked at the photobucket account and found more pics showing the engine and the google image searched different i4 cars until i found it.

I said it wasn't a 4g. So people suggest a "DSM" motor. OMG...Look at the oil caps on all motors suggested and it narrows it down fast.
