keep trying!.. or why not just take the exhaust apart wherever u can.. and just keep the midpipe together.. it will just be in bigger sections.. but its not going back on so it wont matter.

Ok so in the end I ended up taking the car to a buddy of mine out near barnesville JUST to break the bolts loose. So for about 2 hours today I was the world's biggest ricer riding around with no axleback. Also picked up all my pieces from Bucky this afternoon and was able to put those back on but lost a turn signal in the process. Here's some pics of the finished product. Still got a little bit of work to do but i'm done for one day.

haha, you passed by me on 74 today. I was wondering why you had no exhaust...
I also saw you a while ago kind of near Fairburn.
how did the bumper work out for you
did I? I went to union city to hit the mitsu dealership but they were closed so I had to turn around and come back and then go all the way down 74-85-16-41-19 and went to my buddies house who has a lift and air tools. took him 5 minutes to break them loose. I was so pissed cause I spent all day yesterday with my dad trying to get them loose but oh well.Originally Posted by bigs

when will you be ordering springs??? sounds nice....bucky did a great job on the bumper!!!
i have to order shocks in conjunction with the springs because the shocks on here are so soft the springs would blow them out. so i gotta get some kyb shocks first hopefully a couple weeks. And yes bucky did an amazing job on the bumper and mirrorsOriginally Posted by MIKE.P
. i gotta get another vent though cause one of them fell off today

yea man. i had my buddy put the lil covers on he said they didnt fit well. i guess its because it wasnt an oem bumper
yea its cool dont worry about it you have to kind of force everything on to make them actually fit.i will probably take the bumper off again next weekend and double check everything not your fault at all.

Thread Revival.
So this thing hasn't had anything done to it since the last post, which was 2 years ago with the exception of me fucking up my front bumper while looking at some chicks ass LOL, long story. Anyhow my Dad has been driving it back and forth to the airport for the last couple of months and he made a bunch of complaints about the car so we are remedying them as we go. Finally have fixed all the mechanical issues on the car(2 engine mounts, trans mount, idle speed motor, o2 sensor, goes on and on) and are finally getting back to the fun stuff. Over the last couple of weeks we got ordered:
Rota D2's in black 17x7.5 +35
Pioneer AVIC-UB310 Nav, iPod, Bluetooth already built in
XM Tuner
HD Tuner
Alpine Type R 6.5" Component Door Speakers
Infinity 3.5" Center Channel
Sony 700 Watt amp
Projector Head lights
6K HIDs
4K HIDs for the fogs (Big ups to Nitro on both sets)
New dash cover since mines all cracked to shit
and just a few other doo dads here and there that I won't bore you with cause they are that minor.
Got the Projectors put in today just gotta put the HID's in and shes golden on this.
Here's a couple of shots to show just how bad the old ones were after 10 years.
Thanks again Chrysler for making yet another shitty component. Driving at night in this car with the stock set up sucked you could only see maybe 30 feet in front of you
New one waiting to go in
New ones all bolted in and hooked up with the temporary bulb set up.
Finally here's a shot of all the audio stuff waiting to go in. Still waiting on my HD tuner and then it will all go in hoping to have it all in this weekend

Wow, slowest build thread EVA, but car is still clean. Can't wait to see the new wheels mounted
BUILT NOT BOUGHT .........
Haha yea. When I got my tC back I kinda just.....lost interest and it sat in the garage and never got driven. Now that my Dad's actually driving it it's getting some much needed attention.
The wheels are back ordered for another week so hopefully in two weeks I'll have em in and get em mounted right after.

nice upgrades man i like the lights
UPDATE:
HD Tuner came in today although I'm slightly worried, as when I turned it over and looked at compatible head units mine wasn't on there BUT it said compatible with head units with IP BUS which mine has so we'll see...here's hoping
Next week will be pretty busy. Monday car goes in to have all the audio bits installed. Tuesday I pick it up then it heads back to the shop to have a few small compnents replaced I felt needed to be addressed. Then Wednesday it goes in to have the front bumper replaced and a few nicks and scratches addressed as well as some PDR done. Wheels are supposed to come off backorder as well on Monday so I'm hoping either by the end of the week or beginning of the following I can get them mounted balenced and aligned and my work will finally be done.
After that Mike(Mach'N U) who as well all know does spectacular work will be working his magic on my car as well.
Needless to say it's been a long arduous road for this car but I'm finally approaching the finish line. And it has been so worth the wait.

Back when I was a young kid (I'm still a kid ha), I always used to want one of these. Even though I have my own car now, I still love seeing these pop up from time to time. If only it was a RWD car. Or at least AWD. Even still though gl and I look forward to updates. Nice car
Just a quick update. Dropped off the car to have the stereo installed today and ordered the last of the parts I need to finish including the new nose and a few other tid bits here and there. Also talked to the people i ordered my wheels from and they were supposed to ship out either today or tomorrow.
Anyways heres a quick shot I got today as they were running all the wiring for the new setup
