Ok since ther aren't many 3G's on this forum I decided that i'm gonna document how I mod my car.
First off let me say that this car is not fast. Nor will it be but, as it's already decently fun to drive I thought I would make it a little better as I don't see driving this car but for another 1-2 years as I will be buyin my dream project car by then. But I will be keeping it as my when the project's in the shop/when **** breaks car.
The goal is to have something that handles halfway decently as right now in stock form it handles like a damn lincoln and somewhere between 215-225 whp. I plan to acheive this through:
Intake
Exhaust
Header
Diamante V6 Intake Manifold
Diamante V6 Throttle Body
S-AFC V.1(My Christmas Present from Tank)
Plugs
Wires
As I have been told repeatedly 225whp is probably more than likely a stretch but I don't see a problem with getting 215whp from this car. Will it be fast after this? No. But will it be more fun to drive? In combination with some coilovers absolutely.
I came to get this car after my mom kicked me out and took my tC.
An old shot of it
The car had been sitting in a garage and accumulated a total of like 50mi/wk over the course of 2 years as my Dad only used it to get back and forth from the airport in VA Beach where he works. I went like 2 months without a car because the car needed a lot of work. But finally it was done and I got to fly up to VA Beach and pick it up. I could have cared less what it was but I feel like I lucked out.
Some Pics I took when I got it home.
I have basically sat on this car because of lack of funds for the last 5 months. Finally though I got enough money to finally get some stuff for this damn car.
back like 2 or three weeks ago I got in touch with Bucky about doing some paint work for me on my wheels. I can not thank him enough for the quality job he did. Here is how my stock wheels came out after Bucky worked his magic.
While I was waiting on him and the car was on jack stands went I decided to go ahead and paint the calipers so that there would be a little more color to offset the black.
I met up with him later that night after he finished and picked them up. The next day I took them to Big 10 Tire in Peachtree city and had them rebalence them and mount the weights on the inside of the wheel.
Then I finally was able to throw them on the car.

I couldn't be happier with the way they look on the car.
Last week before I left for Boston had a slight run in with the car and smashed the front bumper up.
No big deal as I wanted to pull the front liscense plate but there was damadge behind it that it was covering up So I had decided against it till now. I have a new front bumper on the way that Bucky will be painting along with the side view mirrors.
Last week I ordered my Intake and Greddy SP2 Exhaust thinking they would be here when I got back this weekend but unfortunately they won't be here till Thursday and friday of this week coming up. So yesterday when I got back I took some of the money that I got from Christmas and my Birthday and took my car and got my windows tinted. Thanks to C&B Window Tinting in Newnan for the quick work they made of the car. 35% on the sides and 20% on the rear window.
More updates when the new stuff comes in the end of this week
