Yes. BBS mesh all the way.

Those wheels are ugly as hail. If you don't look any further up, you'd think you were looking at your average everyday Civic. Later, QD.

I think the bronze wheels just look good on black as a general rule, and the "angular" bodystyle seems to match these wheels imo. It may not be kosher, but I think in this case it looks good. Am I really alone on this one?

I think bronze wheels are shiity on any car. Everyone has them now and it's nothing now. It was ok about 5-6 years ago. I love the car, most definitely, but the rims I don't like. Not even the style. If I were to have to get gold wheels on that car, it would have to be BBS mesh. Later, QD.

Hopefully me! I'm trying to locate some "Type 5" OEM BMW E39 528i Sport wheels, they are 17x8 two piece BBS RS with a deep polished lip...

Supposedly the offset doesn't work on E30/E36's but i'm putting E36 front suspension and M coupe rear suspension on an E30 with E30 M3 (EVO III if i can locate them) front fenders and rear flares...the E39 offset should put the lip flush with the outside of the flares...hopefully!

Looks good. Had those wheels been painted flat black I'd say SUCCESS!! Still looks awesome though.

    DAMN i love those wheels!
i want an E38 with those wheels or something like it.
the 7 and 5 series do have the same lug pattern right? (5x120)

All the 5 lugs have the same lug pattern but the hub may be a different size requiring reboring or hub centric rings...

    e32 - 87–94 7-series
    e34 - 89-95 5-series
    e36 - 91-99 3-series
    e38 - 95-01 7-series
    e39 - 96-05 5-series

Personally I think the E38 looks best lowered with the M-parallel...it also looks good on the e34 and e39 5-series, the 8-series, and even the Z3's! Hell, even looks great on the E30 M3's, lol.

Yeah? Whereabouts? I just saw this guy for the first time but now hes popping up everywhere. If you know that tire place across from the NAPA, there is an import shop behind it and he is often parked there, where he works I believe.

supposedly the offset doesn't work on E30/E36's
5 series wheels will work on e36, but e36 wheels will not work on 5 series.

You and I are alot alike. I've been seraching for style 5's for quite some time also! If I do get some, I'm going with a matte black mesh piece with gold bolts and polished lip I want staggered, but those are very rare.

I may end up going with CSL reps.
