    my intercooler came in, and i was wondering what your thougts were on the painted V.S. unpainted look

    Just paint the end caps of the intercooler and the charge pipes black. The middle of your intercooler doesn't look much different from most stock ac condensors. Only thing that really gives it away are the large end caps and charge pipes going in/out of it.

    i dont know how well the paint will stick to the charge pipes so i am going to uy some black stockings to slide over the pipes...

    You don't mind painting an intercooler, but you're scared to paint the charge pipes? The paint will stick as long as whatever you are painting is prepped good.

    depends on what YOU like. Some people like the "stealth" look. But the paint does at a layer onto the fins so it does cool as well. Unpainted is more effective.

    i painted it at a angle so the paint would only cover the top of the fins.

    the inter cooler is this wide!

    i only painted the spots of the end tanks that could be seen. the top, sides of the end tanks, and back of the intercooler are not sprayed.
