Default Suzuki Pikes Peak album i made

Back in '89 Suzuki sent its first car to Pikes Peak, but it wasn't until 92 that
Nobuhiro 'Monster' Tajima made his first trip up the mountain in a twin engine Cultus, then came the Escudo (you all know that car) and in 07 the record breaking XL7!

    1994 Cultus Twin Engine

    1996 Escudo V6 turbo

    2006 Grand Vitara V6 turbo

    2007 XL7 V6 turbo

After 16 years of trying, Tajima got the Record with a time of 10:01.41.

    Read the stats.....
    The Race to the Clouds

Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the world''s highest auto race and one of the most grueling events in all of motor racing. The start line at 9,400 feet is high enough to leave anyone short of breath. And the climb to the towering 14,110 foot finish punishes drivers and their vehicles. As the drivers climb toward the summit, the thin air slows reflexes and saps muscle strength - plus it robs engines of 30% of their power at the summit. So competitors and vehicles must be in top shape simply to finish, let alone win.

The course is a twisty sprint of 12.4 miles. With turns and a course that turns to gravel halfway up, drivers get a tremendous workout. Although every corner in the race deserves full respect, the one named "Bottomless Pit" gets top billing as the one not to miss. No one has ever missed that corner, which would result in a 6,000 foot drop.

Tajima will be very busy in '08. Number one challange will be to break the 10 minute barrier up the mountain. This achievement will be unprecedented and one of the most important achievements in all of motorsport. To give you an idea.......the 11 minute barrier was broken in 1987 by Walter Rohrl in a specially prepared 600hp Group B Audi Quattro S1....Time was 10:47.85 sec.

Also in 2008, Tajima will take roll as president of the new Suzuki WRC Rally Team! The team participated at the 2007 RAC AND French rounds as development sessions and the team will officially debut is the 2008 WRC season.

it makes a little over 1000whp and its nothing "top secret", i know exactly what motor it uses, also the turbo"s", as in twin's which is has, are nothing special either.
