I really don't see how the 300ZX made it. I mean, I like them, but I don't consider it to be "beautiful" as far as cars go.

I agree. I honestly can't see how any car from the 90s made it in that list. Later, QD.

The E24 6-series was the replacement for that car. As for beauty i'd say the 3.0 had far better body lines.

How old are you? I was 9 when Road & Track released the car in their October 1989 issue. Look at every other car made in '89-'92 and compare the Z32 to it. By today's standards its not that incredible of a car, hell by 1998-2000 it was pretty well dated but when it was released it was a work of art...far beyond just about any car that wasn't a six figure exotic. Even mechanically with it's variable valve timing 1 year before Honda in the NSX. The question is, does it have the timeless styling compared to that of the 240z. If there was ever a car in the 90's to make this list i'd say this one or the NSX...then you might as well start looking towards Ferrari and Lamborghini too.

Then look at Range Rover, the only car to ever make it into the Louvre in France. The most prestigious museum in the world and the 1970 Range Rover was displayed there as an "outstanding piece of modern sculpture".

Looks and beauty are far too subjective, there are simply too vehicles and too many opinions to make everyone happy.
