New project
Alright, well here are some pictures of my new project car.
-1969 BMW 1600.
The 1.6l that was in it was replaced with a carburated 2.0l from a 2002. So technically it's a 1602 clone if I've been reading right about them. The motor has 2-3k miles on it but was parked after the rebuild. Currently to DRIVE it needs new front calipers and brake lines, and a new carburetor. I have an alternate trunk lid already I hope to replace tomorrow. The body needs work, but again, it's a project. I plan on doing a basic tune up this week and get it running.
I'm either thinking of putting alot of money into this car or a little. If I do all the body work myself my friend and I are going to do a dyi paint job. Otherwise I'm going to have someone professionally do it. Either BMW bottle caps or Konig Remember's slammed. Otherwise, I just want to make it a nice DD.
Any comments are welcome, anyone with any good info for parts or anything hit me up.
I've got a LOT of work ahead.
