I mean, that one is a SOHC turbo, not scared. The built type-r not scared. The other one has a no front bumper and huge fmic, doesn't look like a sleeper.

Even tho buddy is running a single cam, you gotta give him props for hiding his turbo setup like that. Also, you would never had known that EF is pushing over 200hp since it looks like a bone stock car. I didn't really go into the details of the ef, but looking at the mods it seems like it is setup for auto-x.

But i'll be nice and post one too....

Look like a typical little girly Miata, right?

Until you open the hood and find a coldside 62ci Eaton blower pushing 22 psi...... starting at 2000 RPMS.....YES 2000 RPMS.

Those foglight holes on the bumper....are now used to house 2 liquid to air coolers for the intercooler.

    22psi on a mildly built 1.8L = 340RWHP and 310RWTQ

So who considers a sleeper a car that runs in the high 12's or one not able to hook? I would consider a sleeper something that will pull up to a red light and toast a new LS2 or maybe like a 03/04 Cobra. Not bashing at all JMO.

The first one definitely caught me off guard and if I ever (which may be very soon) own any type of import it will be a true sleeper and look a lot like these.

The Miata is freaking insane and I give props to who ever owns it. I would think that it is faster than high 12's with traction?

That EF is plain dumb. What's so "sleeper" about hiding your brake setup? It's not like we go out and see who can brake the fastest

Its really not about the brakes. If you are a Honda person then you know that HX wheels are one of the lightest wheel Honda makes. So get some HX wheels and throw some RT615s on them and you got a nice light weight and grippy setup. Then no one would know your rims weighs only 12lbs because the factory hubcaps are covering them.

I have this mag, I remember this as the only Civic I ever liked. He even has a valve in the exhaust so it sounds stock till he flips a switch.

Which is still pretty dumb. What's the point of covering up some HX wheels that come STOCK on Honda's anyway? It just doesn't make sense. I can understand him wanting light wheels, but again, what's the point of covering them up? It's not like HX wheels look that good anyway

The point is to keep the car looking as "original" as possible. Don't forget rocking other OEM Honda rims is the "in thing" right now.

Then that EF is an original looking car, not a "sleeper". It's got a Hype R swap wow...aren't "sleeper" cars supposed to look stock/ordinary, but posses some power, thus making it a sleeper

A fully built R in a gutted EF hatchback is a pretty quick car. Around 200whp in one of Honda's lightest bodies. Even if it's not gutted, it'll still be pretty quick. I'm not saying it's mega quick, but it'd surprise you if you saw it on the street and pulled up to a red light with it. That's the object of sleeper cars - surprise.

Nope, it is a Buick. IMO it's no sleeper because if you know about cars then you know it is a beast.
