With the Z6 without the turbo it ran a 16 flat. I was having bogging off the line and spinning issues at the time. Damn cheap tires. That's also with full interior, spare tire, jack and lug winch and a system.

Awesome, I know you had been waiting on this for a while. Congrats looks funBTW what kind of BOV are you running?

nice work came out good
i'm guessing this forum is not working correctly ....cause it shows 380 pages and only one post per page.
Well I've done a bit of work to the CRX.
Installed a real deal Greddy Type RS BOV.
(Only video I got of it as of right now)
I found out my PCV system was wrong after it lifted the valve cover up and sprayed oil all over the motor.
Fixed it by plugging the PCV port on the intake manifold and running a catch can to the black box on the back of the motor. No more high crank case pressure
Then I installed a HKS mega flow air filter.
Fixed my Flowmaster muffler. It was sucked up under the bumper so I cut off a hanger and re-welded it to put the muffler in the right position.
And just for the hell of it I installed a 140db air horn and got reid of the stock little wimpy Honda horn.
And to night took it for a nice long drive with a friend.
thanks for looking![]()
sounds.. and my block looks like that too lol

Test fitted my new lip. Its dirty and has a few scratches but I found it on the ground covered in weeds at Honda Part Connection. I have no idea what it went on and nether did anyone that worked there. Best part is its almost a direct fit to the 90-91 CRX bumper. Not bad for $15.
All that's left is to cut and bend the sides to match the bumper then sand it smooth and paint it.
Anyone have any idea what car this came on? Its got 85, 86, and 87 on the inside.
good job man

nicee. From the first page to now its lookn hella good. get some nice rims and a paint job then call it a day!
Here's the lip sanded, painted and installed. Look really good on there but the pictures suck. I'll get some good ones tomorrow if its not raining.
Also got the HKS filter on. That took some real work to get it in there and on by myself.
Also reworked my PCV system last night and its now releasing all the positive crank case pressure. Here's my bay as of today.
Next week I'm ordering the new downpipe material so I can make a good downpipe that hugs the oil pan instead of hanging 2" under it.
Looking good IMO
Getting a new hood this week. Dang that downpipe hangs low.
Wow I really got to work on the fitment of my front end.
Nice Mike.... When we going to run them? Ill give you a shot ot the all motor hatch if ya want... Better keep the gas over half tank or your going to detonate and crack a sleeve , dont belive me go look on honda tech... Looks good ...... going to the varsity meet?

yea I try to keep it above half tank. I guess I'll be running it at commerce but I don't know when.Originally Posted by Goinfasterthanu
nope not going to make it the varsity this time. no $ for gas and its a bit cold. if I can get my hands on some cash I will probley be there.
thanks for the good comments. I'm really enjoying it and I'm going to start on the body work next month and start looking for a new motor to build up soon.
I know I am kind of new to this forum but I gotta be honest, I'd keep the red steelies. Not like you're a sleeper with that gigantic FMIC on there but at least tires won't be hard to come by. Plus, I dig the look of the red steelies against the black paint. Looks good bro. I saw you run at commerce this past summer. I was there with my Mazda crew.
Well I blew the motor... I new it would eventually happen but I was hoping for it to last longer. No big deal I'm going to rebuild it with all forged internals so it will last this time.
Here's what shes doing.

Going to drop a mini-me swap in just to keep it on the road while I build the Z6.
