Nice! Keep it up.
Mike GL man :goodjob:
ta da!!! Its green!!! I've had a busy day so I didn't get started on the rest of the trim till 2 and I've been sanding and prepping it till now. I'm about to go tape up the front bumper and finish it. and start painting the trim. Its dusty and the hood is really dirty right now. The camera make it lighter and barker so here's the pics.
And yes I'm changing the rims soon.

Olive Drab Green FTMFW! Looks good bro.
Looking good man, sucks about your engine though. That olive green is nice!
What a change. Clean rex:goodjob:
Thanks
I can't wait to get it running again in a month I hope.
Dood, my Ef hatch is the same color... no black though..
still lookin good. how much boost were you running on your z6? i dunno if i wanna keep mine or buy an LS with forged internals.
I've seen a few cars this color but never a CRX.
I was running 10psi on the Z6 but the boost didn't have that much to do with the rod knock. I just ran it at to high of a RPM for to long(long rear ration DX transmission) and stretched the rod bolts. Plus the motor had a good amount of miles on it too.(not sure how many but in a year and a half I put on 9000 miles.)
dam!!! I'm going to have to chage my color, but looks good! Keep up the good work!!!!
sorry it just looked to good to not paint my car.
cant wait to see some more engine work
 The motor is coming (Hehe coming) apart vary nice. I cant get the crank pulley off so I got to get a breaker bar this afternoon. It was the #3 rod bearing that granaded. These a good amount of metal shavings on my oil pickup screen but other than that everything looks good. The piston walls look great with one little mark it the #3 thats smooth to the touch.
Pics of said tear down.

I also bought a new breaker bar and got my crank pulley off and pulled out the crank shaft. Finished striping it. Cleaned and degreased the motor so I can lay some fresh olive green and satin black paint on the block, head, and valve cover.
Also bought one of these so I can spec the bearing surfaces and piston walls.

:D Olive green block and satin black wheels.
the cars lookin good
when will it be running again??
hopefully next month. I'm wanting to have it running and retuned for more boost way before may so I can run it around road atlanta at the year one experience.
Agghh, hideous at first. Great job on de-ricing. Looks alot cleaner. The blue would have looked nice though. Nice engine bay, very clean! I like it alot.
I just bought the first internals for my motor. SCAT H beam rods and ACL bearings.
I may buy the complete gasket set tomorrow. The rods and bearings came out to be $373.49.
I decided not to go with the vitara pistons and instead I'm going with 9.0:1 CP pistons so I should be able to get some good high HP # out of it.
vitaras ftmfw...im about to do the same to my brothers y8 it blew up on me when i was driving it and i wasnt even boosting it...so now i got to pay to fix itQuote:

doing a good job
Not much happening as of right now. Trying to save up for the rest of the internals.
I did paint some stuff.
