It's a German car, it was design for the autobahn. Just because other cars can get there alot quicker than your Miata doesn't mean you should call anyone a dumbass. I'm sure this guy wasn't hitting that speed at 11pm or on the afternoon. BMW's are very stable cars at high speed, im sure he could have even been on the phone no problem.

You dont know my Miata. And idc what time when where if it's a public road it's stupid it's not under controlled environment. There are little things on roads that do a lot more damage to your car at tripple digit speeds then going the speed limit.

I have driven 8 series before, I know they are stable. But that doesnt mean that little glass shard wont rip your tire off.
