    Talking merkur (I finally got my baby back!)

    I blew my motor forever ago, so I got her back today. I got to upgrade my fuel system so I'm only running 6lbs of boost right now but I will rise again real soon........................ sorry for how dirty she is

    what are the specs of that engine? I've heard of it before, but haven't ever seen one

    2.3 turbo motor from the Thunderbird turbo coupe, right?

    I heard the transmission is weaker than the turbo coupe though.

    yeah 2.3 sohc. mine has a hahn racecraft super 20g, when I get my 255 walboro, im going to turn the boost back up to 18lbs. the motor makes 170 hp stock. I got a lot more goodies in store for it though.

    Haha, nice...very unique! I think these cars are ugly in the front, but they're definitely very cool. I'd like to see what you do with it!

    thats nice. whats the drivetrain setup on that car? RWD? if so, drift it. i love seeing unlikely cars drifting.

    ^^ there's a guy that drifts a white one - its RWD with independent rear suspension with MacPherson struts stock

    a LOT like a Mitsubishi Starion

    Yeah back when I was growing up in NY. My dad and my uncles used to street race. Most people had Starions/Conquests, Merkur XR4Ti, Mazda GLCs, RX-7s, and Toyota Starlets or Celica Supras.

    Those cars were our Integras, 240s, or Eclipses.
