    So this kid... who had his license a week... pulls out of his driveway (two down from mine) and hits my miata, which is parked in front of my STi. It somehow has enough force to lift the one tire onto the curb and also lift the rear onto the front of my STi while going up a hill. yes I know... don't park on streets... there was construction on the house i am living in. Whatever ... here are pics...

    Hell yeah. Maybe if you're (VERY) lucky you can make profit out of it, lol. That's what happened to my friend whos car got sideswiped by a girl with rich parents, they got the doors fixed, and made 1500 dollars profit.

    See if you can get an exotic rental, that would be awesome, lol.

    By the way, were the cars in gear? Any transmission damage? There have been some cars that have gotten some pretty gnarly transmission damage from being smacked forward in gear.

    Jeep Liberty. It ripped his passenger side fender off most of the way, but the Miata bore the brunt of the impact. You can see the tire marks on the front fender of the Miata, the Jeep rode up onto it.

    The amazing thing is the kid lives three driveways down and was going up a steep incline towards the cars, but still managed to get up enough speed to do that much damage.

    what an idiot.

    Something to keep in mind alli when dealing with this kids insurance company. They are responsible for towing costs, repair costs, and rental replacements of BOTH cars. and not only that(and this is important new upgrades in it for you)but the insurance company has to cut you a check for the deprciated value of the cars. This calculated by taking the total cost of damadge per car and multiplying it by .10. so say the subie encoured 3k worth of damdge the insurance company has to cut a check on top of all that for $300 and the same goes with the miata
