    Default Nice 240 Coupe

    Here is a pic of my friends 240sx. He is almost finished with it. I dont know what has been done to it besides the basics.
    So far here is what I know has been done:
    SR20 Redtop swap
    Greddy FMIC
    Exedy stage 2 clutch
    Stance coilovers
    HKS SSQ BoV
    Volk wheels

    I know a lot more has been done but I am not exactly sure but here are the pics.

    (919): so I was just driving high and I stopped to let a pinecone cross the road because I thought it was a hedgehog.

    wide body? or is the fuel lid messed up/just look weird.

    wheels look good in my opinion. and its one hella badass 240 i wouldn't mind owning

    i dont like the wheel color, and the kit is a bit aggressive for my tastes but it looks really good.

    am I the only one that doesn't like it? or do I not follow the 240s enough to realize a good thing when I see one? I respect that the S13 Silvia conversion is on a coupe so it doesn't look like a sil-eighty but the fit and finish is poor, the fuel door is messed up and the wheels throw the whole thing WAYY off. no I understand all that must be expensive but come on guys, expensive doesn't automatically mean nice. "OMG Silvia conversion, ii is automatically good". The front seems unfinished in a way too.

    Yea..... It's running wider fenders (wouldn't call it widebody) front and rear, so the fuel door is a little recessed. Wheels are bigger than I would run, but to each his own. I'm currently running 15's and going to be moving to 16's soon. Don't ever really see going bigger than that. But we have the same taillights!

    Not a fan of the huge wheels on 240s, VIP wannabe's...
    The white wheels don't really flow with the dark purple
    either, IMO. It'd look a helluva lot better with different
    color wheels.

    hey guys, i just registered and i am the owner of the first 240sx that AZN_pride posted pictures of. im glad some of yall like it. i just painted it in my garage a few days ago so it hasnt been wetsanded, buffed, or polished yet. ive only had it for about 4 or 5 months but this is my 4th 240sx. So far this is what ive done to the car:

    S13 SR20 redtop
    Greddy M spec FMIC
    Apexi power intake
    Blitz DD BOV
    Blitz NurSpec 3" Catback
    Blitz 3" Downpipe
    Exedy Stage 2
    J30 VLSD
    MR 3" Test pipe
    Stance GR+ Pro coilovers
    Tein tie rods
    Origin tailights
    Origin bumper lights (not installed yet)
    Origin Stream aero kit
    Origin roof wing (not installed yet)
    Origin Type 1 FRP Hood
    B-Magic FRP 30mm wider front fenders
    B-Magic FRP 50mm wider rear overfenders
    GTR Grille (not installed yet)
    Ichiba 5 lug conversion
    (F)18X9, 0 offset (R)18X9 -15 offset MB Weapons painted white

    im sure theres more mods that i cant remember. next on the list is fully adjustable suspension. anyway, heres a pic of the engine bay:

    whats wrong with the fit and finish? the origin kit and hood fit up like OEM parts and the b-magic fenders fit pretty good as well. the paint looks pretty good to me especially for my first try at painting. it might just be that theyre cell phone pics. also, the first coat of clear had 1 table spoon of silver flakes in it and the car hasnt been buffed yet. the fuel door thing is pretty gay. the piece came with the b-magic rear overfenders in attempt to bring the fuel door flush with the over fenders. the only thing thats unfinished about the front is that i havent painted the GTR grille yet nor installed it, and the bumper lights arent installed yet. theres nothing left after that. eh, to each his own. the pics really dont do it justice. the car looks purple in the pics when its really ruby red metallic.
