i proably wouldnt wax it yet, it needs about a week or so to cure. just my.02. but +1 for the panda tegy
id advise next time to out line what you're painting with paper and then plastic.
it'll cut down on the trash in the paint and less chance of the plastic flying into the fresh paint.
it was outlined with tape and then covered with plastic and taped down again.
