yep,seem like GM is trying to compete with the german cars...hell even the new impala is RWD
It's actually FWD. There was a big deal about it being the first time a small block V8 has been used in a FF setup.

We might be waiting a little longer to see a RWD version. According to C&D, the next generation Impala has been halted for the time being.
