Default My S @ the I.A. Black Hills Circuit Drift Day - 10.14.07

Just some shots of my S from this last weekend's I.A. Drift Day down in Barnesville @ Black Hills Circuit kart track :boobies:

Went through 2 sets of rear tires, a quart of oil, and front brake pads.. not too shabby for a couple hours of seat time!

Sorry for the quality on some of these pictures, my cousin, hasn't really ever used my camera before..

    Thanks guys..

Looks like you had fun in that crappy town! It'd be nice if they widened that track up a bit so people will feel more comfortable though!

    what do you mean?

because there's no 100foot trails of tiresmoke? that's because my car isn't pushing 400hp and i don't have what you call "torque" to do that in the first place... haha.. i'm lucky i can hold a 120ft 50degree drift doing about 50-60mph in an S2000!!

50/50 weight distribution doesn't help me any...

S2000's are made for grip anywho..

I'm still a drifter at heart, so I've gotta feed my cravings, ya kno!!

haha. riight. honestly, there were several factors this last sunday.. tires for me, were the largest concern.. because every other run, i was doing something different with my tires. haha.. the majority of those pics were taken on my 2nd new set i had to put on there at the track, those tires were hard as hell to slide with at first... hah.

    oh well..

hey, simontibbett, you could have seen everything first hand if you would've shown up

next time friend.. next time :boobies:

surprised they wouldnt be worried about you using the wrong type of lugnuts on a stock wheel while on the track. I would figure they would notice that kind of thing. A tapered lugnut on an acorn seat wheel can be dangerous.

they are the correct lugnuts bud i think i might have one ounce of sense in me to do maaaybe a little bit of research before i throw some lugnuts on my whip, to grab a hold onto $2500 worth of OE wheels and tires...

    anywho..

d16_turbo about 3 rolls of 1" tape between my cousin and I, and about a half roll of 2" tape..

cost about $15 for all the tape I think..

:boobies: it was fun.. haha, i think i'm gonna do this from now on for every autox, trackday, and driftday i go to.. hahaha.. i'm gonna end up using about 15 rolls on my car for the Gymkhana coming up here on the 4th..

haha cool, they are almost identical in color. Meh 130 isn't much money. I have spent a LOT more than that on stupid car ****. 130 isnt much when they are holding on 1800 dollar wheels haha.
