haha by drawing it i mean i use the rectangular marquee tool (top left) and just do one edge at a time then use the brush tool and go across it in black, didnt even know there was a border thing lol

yeah go up to image->canvas size->then hit the "relative size" button and it should zero the boxes out and type a number (in inches) for how big of a border you want, you can make it black or grey and you may be able to other colors but i know black and grey for sure
