yes if your a first time owner and have no idea how to control rear wheel drive cars in oversteer but with a halfway decent driver oversteer>understeer still.

Chris since you me and Tank are the only people that know anything about this car i will show people why in the end this car will kick ass.

For $3k Chris got a DEAL!!!!!

91 MR2 non turbo(saving money already on insurance)
    Phoenix Power front end $1600
Border Sides and Rear $1300 -*Right Here You Just Broke Even*
    Paint and Install-? say $1500
JDM Gen 2 3s-GTE Motor-it came from a whole clip so say $4500

    Total:$8900
    Savings:5900

Of course this still doesnt include the money saved from pulling the na motor and tranny putting the new motor and trany in along with swapping the fuel pumps. Yes Chris has some work ahead of him but there is no way in hell it costs $6k to get the car up and running especially if he knocks out a good bit of it before handing over the car to AAP. If and its a lil bit of a big if he has all the parts to complete the swap so that when the car goes to AAP/R2B2 all they have to do is wire the motor put in the new fluids and install an exhaust Chris is looking at tops $1000. Nice set of wheels and some suspension tweaking and he has one sick car to start with.

so, you're basically saying a mid engine car layout handles the same as a front engine rwd layout?

ignorance is bliss. It doesn't matter if you show people why the car is gonna kick ass. Someone will still find something negative to say. I'm not hating, but you can't argue with me on that.

No i'm simply stating though that with a halfway decent driver that oversteer in ANY layout is better than understeer.

You are absolutely right someone will always find something wrong or something to hate about. hopefully what i said above though will abate some of that. Almost no denying though that Chris is going to come out ahead.
