... well i went up there and the axles arrived today. still have an entire page of parts i gotta order. Tom said it prob will not be done for another week or so.

.... got a call from a guy today in Phoenix AZ. The final parts i need are in route and will arrive on Wed. Car should be on the Dyno for tuning before the 1st.

With such a relief... im gonna go get drunk

I'll have some picts up at the end of the week.

R2B2 will have a total for me next week. Labor rate at R2B2 is $80/hr. I'll PM you guys an estimate of what the swap will cost. Most of my parts came from Toyota. I hate doing business with junkyards. If you are doing a swap i recommend waiting to get parts from the forums or junkyards though.... Toyota parts are not cheap.

Vinhs body shop has the spoiler. Only saw it for a glance when i picked up the car. It still needed to be painted. I like it w/out the spoiler though. prob just gonna leave it like it is

so by now if u followed my advice, i bet you could have had a k20 civic, with a fatty turbo on it if you didnt get an mr2 :P

My exhaust will be in on Wednesday. I ordered EMS Magnaflow 3" Exhaust. Also just bought these rims from a IA member.... need to get the one that was spray painted fixed though....

yeah i hear ya now lol car = $3000 .... Shop bill = $3200 ....

I still have another $8000 to put into the car before its completely done

was it originally N/A??? a 3rdgen 3SGTE in a 91 N/A is a beast of a build... very light car w/ stock 245bhp.

you are really gonna like that.... gotta love the Tq # they put down

true... Kswap woulda cost me around 8-9k and to boost the D17... $3k for Kit + fuel and EMS and Tuning.... around $6k to get it done right....

and after a Kswap or Boost the MR2 would still smoke the civic lol

I wasn't talking about in terms of boosting your civic or buying this i'm talking about what it would have cost you to buy a car like the MR2 in running condition with the body kit on it and everything. Easyily 10k with 100k miles

oooo yeah you are 100% correct... the front bumper and Lights alone is $2300

$7000 est. in Body work alone.

exactly the whole body kit i think was 5k when i priced it out to buy the car. 5-7k in body work. the clip was 4k i believe(yes I know you got butt raped on that end but still)not to mention all the money in insurance you will save while you own the car.

trust me i'm sure it will be fine... we did 27 back to back to back runs with mine... just run the heat full crank and rich it up like a poor man in a bank vault to start with and you'll be fine
