Might be a hell of a car...but collector item in my opinion is a 67 shelby mustang....and not a 510. I would love to have one dont get me wrong...but there are a lot more things I could find to spend 28k on. Like land, a NEW car, etc.

I agree it IS an amazing machine, and there have been many countless hours and sleepless nights that have gone into it. Im just saying that I (MYSELF) would not spenk 28k+ on this. well it just ended and the reserve wasn't met. i have only live here in the south for about a year and i don't go to car shows and event much so i haven't heard about yellow fever but now i do. great little car and great project. looking at the pics i know it's time consuming and lots of work had been put in. props to the builder.

You are missing the point. You said I was biased because I own a 510 and that is why I think it is worth that (along with everyone else who knows about that car). I am saying that I own a CRX with a mod list the length of a third world country and I have NEVER seen a CRX worth 28k. Biased? No. I just know what I am talking about.
