Oh well at least Subaru kept the spirit. When the 3rd gen Eclipse concept debuted it was a mid engined 4G63 powered AWD coupe. What we got was a overweight FWD n/a V6 elmer fudd mobile.
the new evos look like volvo's, they suck, and the new sti doesn't have the impreza feel anymore... both have gone way downhill!

the evo #'s just got released, i think its a carry over from the evo ix so it makes the same power but it weighs 300lbs more =/

Yes, at first I thought it was or could be the new STi, but after reading threw more Impreza forums its not. But im sure it won't look to diffrent from the already releashed 08 Wrx. Which imo looks like crap. Saw a blue one not to long ago, and I didn't feel it for shit.
the front end I think is alittle bit better looking then the 06-07 model but the rest is just blah! Heard about the 330hp rumor also. hopefully, should be a good battle against the new Evo. Can't wait to see how the finished product will look.

only thing i'm jealous of on the 08 is the red gauges, plus they do that cool full sweep when you crank the engine.
I like both of them, but some how, they both remind me of dogs. The evo looks like a pit bull, and the sti looks like a bulldog. From other angles, the STI looks like a Mazdaspeed 3 that went mental. If the MS3 is doctor jeckyll, the STi is definately Mr. Hyde
