    it was aligned before the wheels. but i wouldnt think so. its not based on how far out the wheels are.. but good q's..

    Oh also the 3m lens cleaning kit is expensive (Like $15) but its well worth it. Pretty much just wet sanding and polishing.

    Toe/alignment can't be measured unless you have something to base it off of, ie. front or rear wheels...i'm sure on certain specialty alignment machines (porsche, lambo, etc.) you can enter the differance otherwise there is no way to read it. I know it can't be done on a Honda/Acura at a Honda dealership.

    duh. i think. im just saying. they put the little lazer levels on all the wheels. it doesnt matter if one sticks out further. all they measure is up and down(camber) and if they are straight. like facing forward in the right direction..
    aka tow. and caster. but i dont really get caster. your reply didnt really make

    and i polished the shit out of the lights with chrome polish and toothpaste. it helped, alot. still may invest in the lens polishing kit.

    i have only had the car for a month and it was all stock when i got it..

    You can't use lasers on just the front or rear wheels can you? It has to be on all 4 otherwise there is no way it can determine anything -- the front is aligned to the rear and the rear is aligned to the front...it's a triangle effect between the computer, front, & rear...if you take one of the variables out how is it to know what is aligned and what isn't? With all 4 laser setups on the wheels the computer/software is going assume that the front and rear wheels are the same because it doesn't know any different then it's going to try to compensate that difference in offset with toe adjustments but it can't because left side to right side wouldn't be parallel...

    He's right. Im a tech for acura and the alignment rack works with all four wheels as a whole. If the front and rear are different from each other in anyway its not going to align properly. Its the same as if you put one wrong size tire on the car, its not gonna be right. Yes it will compensate and it might even so you the numbers you want to see, but that doesnt mean they are actually correct. Alignments are very sensitive and can be offset by something as simple as tire pressure. BTW if your suspension is stock the only thing adjustable on it anyway is toe.
