A while back I had a chance to get a '60 or '61 356 for like $8,000. I so wish I had bought it. I really want a Porsche but the only thing I can afford is a boxster, and meh...no thanks.

Ugh. There's nothing like a 70s Porsche. Actually, to me, the 944 looks better than the new Porsches.

    And it's a 1974, I think. Later, QD.

Agreed, I much rather prefer the older Porsches to the new ones. Not too keen on the green though.

Those are sweet cars! A real 911 Carrera RS brings good money when selling it. Lots of collectors want them. Porsche made the 2.7 RS in 1973 only and 1974 model was a 3.0 RS. But lots of people are makin look-alikes. Those older 911s are light too! A 1973 RS weighs 2370 lbs and makes ~210hp.

Here is a 1975 911 RS clone going for $25,000 on ebay:

I used to work at a Porsche shop and drove plenty of older 911's. They are awesome cars!

lol, $25,000 was the retail price for a 911 RS back in the early to mid 70's, you can't say you'll get a return like that on many cars today...much less the last 20-30 years.
