thanks for the compliments peeps. As the rest of us its a work in progress. I really wanted to get closer to that bridge in the last pic. Its an old bridge thats obviously closed off. On the other side the bridge is just cut off-lol. Plants and stuff are growing on it, its really nice.

wow because you cant afford you hate? Didnt think you would go that low. If i were impressed by your cheap paint job, two dollar wheels, and your no name tires Id almost care what you think. But im not.

ummmm buddy i don't think he was hating, he was saying that your mom must be really cool to let you hook up her car. My mom hates modded cars, and I'm sure there aren't a whole lot of 40-somethings driving even slightly modified cars.

So I think you need to take that back. That was a dumb comment you made and I hope you get flamed for it :idb:

no no no... i like "yours" (fox)
your parents car is fine too.
but why did you ditch the fox?
did you get frustrated with it? you shouldnt throw in the towel because of frustration.
ive had more frustrating stagesthroughout the evolution of my vehicle than anyone i know. but i hung in there and did not sell or put MY car aside. im fond of it so i kept workin on it. no matter what.
i guess you just need to find something you're passionate about

well i dont know if im seeing sarcasm or what. But my fox was already on its way out. I was not frustrated with it at all. In fact I loved the car. But it wasnt practical for a daily. At the stage in my life it wasnt practical to dump a bunch of money into a car. I could but I would either end up still at home, or living in an apartment. I was already looking for a new car. Lined up next was a forrester XT which I was already working on. But my "dad" was getting rid of his legacy. And gave me the option of taking over the payments. So i drove it for a couple weeks and took it. The car is now in my name, I own it. Well the bank does until its paid off. Im looking to buy a house by the end of the year, and I knew months ahead the fox wasnt the reliable commuter i needed. So I dont know if the idea you have is that im just driving my parents car around and modding it, but if it is your way off. I pay the payments and I pay my car insurance. Ive worked very hard for everything I have, and have done to the car, Im 21, the last thing I wanna do is just sit and live off my parents. Im gonna sit the legacy off for a little while as well. There are a couple more things I want to do with it but for the most part im gonna take a break from it for a little while. My main focus is getting a house right now. I can throw money at a car all day and gain nothing. Throw money at a house and you will always gain something. Cars are cars. There will be another day when i can take on a project but now isnt the time. As much as i hated to sell my fox i realize it was the best decision for me.
