Pics of My 86 Accord LX-I
Well long story short I had a nice long post showing past until now....then it got fucked up so here are the present pics. Well it used to have everything now most creature comforts are gone. No ps, no ac or components, and no cruise. Sound deadener has been stripped out of floorboards as well. I have plans to turbo, but until I get my engine rebuild I cannot because my compression is all fucked but with almost 400k I can expect that. Cheers.

Well when I decide to rebuild, probably in the near future after i hit 400k, a full rebuild with quality parts that can handle mild boost. Full exhaust, dsm injectors, an obd-1 swap since my car is pre odb, walbro fuel pump, and then its turbo time. Already have the turbo which is a tdo5h, and 2 intercoolers, although i think im gonna go with a front mount. Also have bov and the start of my conversion harness for the obd-1.

w/ a nice drop it'll look alot better IMO, not saying it doesn't look good now, but you get the point...

^^^The rims are light!! ^^Since I've had the car I've only replaced water pump, and the passenger side cv axle. Although I have all the records of service done before I got the car - tranny rebuilt, etc. ^Thanks yeah thats what I'm going for, soon I'm gonna go flat black and get the dents out, then respray with factory and go gunmetal/carbon fiber/black.

TD05H doesn't tell alot about a turbo.... 16G....18G.....20G? But I bet that car is pretty lite

Only a 14b, but for the boost I'm gonna be running its a good turbo. I got it free anyway and it has no shaft play whatsoever!

Thanks guys yeah I love cars with extreme mileage on them. It is a testament to the makers ability to create durable cars. My toyota pickup only has 264k on it and it is just now "broken in". And when I first got this car I didn't want to do anything to it but after stumbling upon www.3geez.com (3rg gen accord site) I quickly changed my mind. There are some people and cars on there that are just insane. Fully rebuilt motors with conversions/turbos, etc. pushing over 250hp to the wheels, and for a car this light and that barely came with 100hp to the trans thats great!

Appreciate it. Oh you have starion wheels too? Damn I thought I was the only one. Over at Toyotanation www.toyotanation.com they were all stunned when I first got them and were like wtf, where did those come from; they're hot!. Yeah I got these wheels in perfect shape at the junkyard for $100. The tires arent so great but I'm looking for tires a the moment. I love the lip in the back. Sucks that I ran out of money. yea man...i thought i was the only one w/ starion wheels too...do you have any more pics of the wheels on your truck? i only have the front wheels off of the starion on mine(4 total front starion wheels) i didnt get the rears cuz i thought they would stick out alot...i'm actually trying to sell mine right now..btw i'm on yotascene.com..thanks man for the compliment..if u know someone who wants mine lemme know i got a thread up for it
those old accords will run forever.. I think I was at 275xxx before I sold mine..
I ran on a busted CV boot FOREVER and a day.. before I sold it, the damn driver side mirror went out..

Nope unfotrunately I just have that pic when I initially put em on. The tires where dry rotted yokohamas so I didn't wanna leave em on too long. They're in my building awaiting tires. But yeah I have the rear starion wheels in the rear and they do not stick out at all. I know i took some more pics so I'll look around for em. About a 2 in lip (maybe) and 50 series tires...looks great! If I find someone who might want it I'll let ya know.
Yeah unfortunately I ran mine until the cv axle went out....I put a replacement boot on it and as soon as I headed down my road, the bearings fell out so I ended up pushing my car back home....up a hill about 2 miles. :/
