Glad to see stage 2 of your build is finished Tony. Are you gonna remove the rest of the chrome molding around the body? Stage 3 let the force be with you?

So finally got the new wheels put on. Here’s the full test fit at home in my garage

    The old rears

    The old fronts

Some free swag in the box

    Purdy

Arrived at Butler Tire with the new wheels

Gonna have to dial in that camber just a tad in the rear

Geordie personally putting on the center caps while lining them up to the logo on the wheels

Time to set it down and see what she sits like

We can’t have this, going to take her over to the alignment rack and dial in some negative camber for slammed effect

Bing (Verietk) helped me out by bringing the new wheels to the shop and taking my old wheels home for me. Glad to have him to hang out with while the boys at Butler took care of the car.

Let’s see what we have now after some adjustments

He made it so that the maxed out camber at lowest level slam would still track straight without issues. We were desperately trying to avoid toe issues.

    All buttoned up

Got to take some pictures at the house and got a better look

    Rear all the way up

    Slammed

    Front all the way up

    All the way down

Project boost begins 10/16/11 after the Official-Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett/SELOC Lexus meet @ 10/15/11 in Atlanta, GA

Black Univeral HKS SQV BOV with mounting flange

AEM Boost Gauge (I may be swapping this one out with a buddy for his AEM True Boost version) I will also be getting a AEM Oil Pressure Gauge in the near future

This will match my AEM Wideband one perfectly

I got 2 of these Autometer Carbon Fiber 52mm gauge cups to match the one I have now for my wideband gauge

Test fitted. We are going to be mounting these to the A-Pillar

Got this brand new Perma-Cool Transmission Cooler

Got this universal carbon fiber oil catch can

Aluminum radiator with electric fans. Going to take a little work to make it fit but we'll be ok

Got this Intercooler kit from my buddy Frank. Super excited about seeing this peek-a-boo-ing form behind the bumper

With my HTC Evo 4G for a little size comparison

More to come. Thanks for looking!

My buddy Joe drove all the way down to South Florida to pick up this bundle of joy. It's his spare GTE Block from St. Lucia! He's donated the head, turbos, and intake manifold to the cause. So, it's official "Layla - My Car" is expecting..... twins Turbos that is. She's a little dirty but with a little TLC and wrench time she's gonna be as good as new

Still planning out the turbo build right now. Had a few financial hiccups along the way. Life happens, but now we are back on track. Can't wait to get it boosted!

hey thanks, yeah it's a piece together kit. there wasn't a full kit available at the time that i liked all the pieces to.

as for the changes coming in 2012-2013 they are performance driven. it is coming along slowly but surely. a few other priorities and goals to reach this year so the car isn't on the top of the list of things to complete. you know how it is though, it'll never be "done" lol. always changing, always evolving...

brings back memories. I remember you rolling up to BP when you got your front bumper and first set of chrome wheels. Shit was clean back then. You've heard it before, car looks amazing how it sits now!

edit- can't wait to see twins under that bonnet! Gonna be icing on the cake. Good luck!
