for anyone intrested... i might have it backwards ill check some enging notes i have lieing around
longer intake runners, both on the heads and intake plenum, increase your power at a lower power band. shorter increase your power at a higher power band. My guess would be that due to the initial lag of boost pressure, while the bad boys are spooling up they used the longer intake runners to one stabilize the incoming air and try to make it as smooth as possible, and two to give it a little help while it is spooling up.
Now like i said i might have the concept backwards as i am a chassis/body fabricator and do do a lot of engine work. if im wrong ill correct myself in here unless someone beats me to the punch.
