dude, WTF. why did your friends get 600's as their first bikes. you aint rollin unless you got a liter. 600's are sloooooooooow

hahaha i love seeing kids get a brand new bling bling 600 as their first bike, lay it down in the parking lot, not sooo bling bling anymore. but seriously you need to tell your friends to take it easy, i hate seeing new riders try things that they dont know how to handle and end up killing themself and put other people in danger.
as for me i started on a GS500 suzuki as my first bike. trashed, spent 1200 dollars on it. glad i did since i dropped it many times before i really got the hang of it. after 2 years on a GS500 and then a short period on a SV i finally moved up to a real 600.

Nice bikes though either way. Get them to take the MSF course, $250 and should teach them a decent amount about bikes.

That is adam...he owns the black r6

I hate to lecture, but to me, this is a recipe for disaster. Don't get cocky... you've only been riding for 9 months; there are guys who kill themselves after 10 years of riding. The "BS shit" you got is well-founded, and from people who care about you, no matter how much it may seem like they're just hating. If they didnt care, they wouldnt warn you.... and to make it worse, you admit that you "ride like a fool". You must think its funny now, and you probably feel damn-near invincible... but you wont when you take a spill. Dont be brash... or it will come back and bite you in the ass.

The good news is that Grady Memorial will soon have much easier access to organs, thanks to you guys.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

    Wikipedia FTW

"A squid is an irresponsible motorcyclist. The term is derogatory and common among motorcyclists in North America and is generally associated with a new or reckless motorcyclist seen riding erratically and/or beyond his or her capabilities, often without appropriate riding gear.

The origin of the word is varyingly attributed:

    A contraction of:
"Squirrely" and "kid" (possibly taken from California surfing culture), or
    "Squished" and "kid", or
    "Squished" and "idiot"
    An acronym for:
"Stupidly Quick, Underdressed, Ignorant and Dangerous", or
"Stupidly Quick, Underdressed and Imminently Dead"
Note: both of these are likely to be backronyms "

re-fucking-diculous if you get full coverage. I got quoted 12K a year on an R1 back when my driving record was a little worse. If you get liability only, its like $30/mo.

In some states, and I know GA was included at one time on this list but I'm not sure now, you don't have to insure bikes.... I know that sometimes they're considered commodities and if you have homeowner's, they are covered... not sure if GA is still one of those states or not.

yea i was joking. 600's aren't slow. faster than most people know even how to put to the ground. you can put my friend on a kawi 500ex and put him on the track with one of these guys either on an R6 or a GSXR600 and he would run laps around them.

Take an Aprilia 250 up in the mtns and you could run all over 600's+ too

Yeah, thats like kids wanting to put a pipe and silencer and shit on their dirtbikes but not being able to ride it to its full potential in stock trim. I guess this applies to streetbikes too though.

dude, i dont wish any riders harm, but you're way too fucking cocky, you probaby still have chicken strips mr. badass.....just be careful, never ride outside your limits, and never let anyone, even a good friend, push you to ride outside your limits, know them, respect them, and you will live a long time, otherwise happy crashing

it depends. my insurance is cheap because i owe less than 5 grand on the bike which means i dont have to get full coverage on it. my insurance averages out at $40 a month
