Default New Shoes on the DUB

I got tired of the mesh style, so I decided to go with a more euro look. Dished out monoblocks. They are Mandrus Emil 19x8.5F 19x9.5R with a 225-35-19F and a 245-35-19R. Little bit of stretch and poke, nothing crazy just a clean euro style:

I'm going to have to say that those wheels look even better than the previous. It's giving the car that big body, luxury car look. Good job. Later, QD.

Very Audi...though I personally don't like how those ones look.

However, it does go with the authoritative look of your car...so if you like them, then !

Ahhh...if only I could fit those TSWs to mine!

these wheels def look way better in person. it gives it a EURO/VIP look and feel since it does have a stretched tire set up with some neg camber in the rear. when he is on the streets rollin it looks wicked!

Damn, those look better then the mesh. Looks great, but its missing something now. With the mesh wheels, your car looked complete. Now with these wheels it kinda looks like you need more.

The kylamani's weren't the best wheels ever but I dont think these are an upgrade. It just reminds me of the A4 in Elite, and I dont like those wheels much either. Other than that I really like everything you have done to your car.

Will do...we can talk about it tomorrow at Malibu. I was waiting to hear back from someone for a piece for my engine bay before I made final plans on what I wanted you to do, that fell through though, so I think I have everything figured out though.

Its a hate it or love it style, I knew that everyone would have one of those responses. I like them, and truthfully the majority of the people that have seen them LOVE them, much more positives then I had imagined. I built the car for me, and I like them, its something different then what I had before, so ill rock them for a while.

i think the overall picture looks good, however i do have an honest question... why did you put staggered wheels/tires on a fwd? i never understood this... is there any gain in handling? or is it purely just to make your car look like a rwd?

Honestly its solely for looks, no handling gain (no real downside afaik other then the rear wheels being a little heavier). Its not that fast of a car to begin with so its more show than go anyway. No worries though that was a legit question.

You know...with a Passat, you could fool someone into thinking it was an RWD. Passats have a longitudinally mounted FWD layout...which is uncommon with most modern cars. Longitudinal engine + staggered setup...hah, it almost adds up.
