Anybody happen to have more pictures of the 08 Nissan Skyline GT-R? If so, thanks a lot!
Google is not working for me at the moment, so I guess that's not a option.
This is the only one I found so far......

Yeah it looks like that. I haven't seen any pics with those wheels on it though, those must be close to the production models. Check out this video, it's one of my faves of it...look at the fireballs it throws as the driver downshifts into the turn :nuts at the thought of it:

Yes, the GT-R will be sold in America.Originally Posted by 97GSRb18
But, its not based on the Skyline/G35 platform anymore, it has a completely seperate architecture from the Skyline (G35). So technically, no "skyline" this time around.
*edit* The Platform (fm) is similar, no body panels are shared with the skyline.
Just Nissan GTR
I can't wait to see one of these on the road!

Good, Ole'Fasion bullshit!
they look really nice.. but there not turbo ???
I don't think anyone knows for sure at this point. It could be a Twin-Turbo version of the VQ v6, or they could tweak the V8 from the FX45, who knows. Either way, its going to be stupid fast!Originally Posted by cactusEG

Supposed to start at about $80,000. It's supposed to have 400+ hp and still be AWD. I WILL be at the dealership to see one as soon as they come out.Originally Posted by GSRteg

True. Estimated prices are going to be upwards of $70k. And yes they're gonna be sold stateside. Personally I hope they keep the twin turbo configuration. Either way, like whoever said above, it'll be stupid fast. Just look at the entrance/exit speeds into those corners on the Nuerburgring videos. I wonder if the driver shat himself...PhatboyMR2, nice find of those picsOriginally Posted by automaniac

Nice find everybody +2 for those who posted pics.
damn... thats hot
Rear looks goofy. Roofline looks very nice though.
for the price id buy a c6z06 instead
The last pictures posted show a pretty wild wing for OEM! What's up with the dimples in the back? They looked like vents but in that one picture they appear pretty aesthetic.
I've got a few here...Let me know if you'd like any resized.
A good site with some articles.

Its going to be a VR37TT motor(3.7L twin turbo), RWD platform. Here are the models and prices. They have been testing it against the Porsche 911 and have broken their track times. This car is going to be bad ass. I can't afford it, so i'll just make my G blow it out the water when I redo my motor.

Thanks to www.worldcarfans.com .The Nissan GT-R development team has made another run at the Nürburgring record books this morning--and the Porsche 911 Turbo is no longer its target. Sources intimately familiar with Nissan's latest test sessions inform us that the group is now gunning to beat the Porsche Carrera GT--a remarkably lofty goal considering that that Walter Röhrl reportedly piloted a Carrera GT around the 'Ring in 7 minutes 28 seconds. Another Carrera GT, driven by Horst von Saurma, managed a lap time of 7:32.
Our sources tell us that, thus far, the Nissan has fallen short of the Carrera GT's record-time, but not by much. Our mole tells us that some wet sections of the track slowed them down, and that with optimum track conditions, some heroic driving could still reel in the Porsche Supercar. Nissan reps would not divulge any specific lap times, but they hinted that something under 7:35 may have been achieved. Regardless, it's clear that Nissan's goal of overtaking the 911 Turbo has been achieved in a big way.
Stopwatch drama aside, Nissan also gave us some new eye-candy by removing most of the camouflage that has been a staple of GT-R sightings for more than a year now. Although not in showroom shape, the latest GT-R test cars give us our clearest look yet at the prototype's front bumper and headlights, and the GT-R badge is now prominently displayed in the grille-opening, and on the trunk lid. We also managed a pretty revealing interior shot as one GT-R prepared to launch. The rear vinyl camouflage has also been removed, and now only flat-black paint remains to obscure the GT-R's true styling. This is as close as we're likely to get to an undisguised car until the car's Tokyo Show debut.
In their most recent 'Ring runs, Nissan rented the track early Monday morning, and had three GT-R prototypes--spaced one-minute apart--all taking their best shots. One of the GT-Rs was reportedly driven by Horst von Saurma--the same 'Ring specialist that drove the Carrera GT to a 7:32 lap time. Another driver was said to be a Japanese driver named Shimizu--possibly well-known racer Kazuo Shimizu. The third GT-R pilot went un-named.
Nissan will likely continue their assault on the Nürburgring--and on the Porsche legacy--for the rest of this week. If the GT-R manages to do the seemingly impossible and unseat the Carrera GT, we'll let you know.

Pretty insane that they're even getting that close.
I have a feeling that the car magazines are going to pull that VW Phaeton crap again with the GT-R. "It's a great car and we have absolutely no reason to dislike it... but it's a NISSAN. Who wants to pay $80K for a NISSAN?"
I'll pay $80,000 for a freaking Toyota if it performs like the GT-R promises to. People are so irrational sometimes.

LOL @ the GTR "beating" the Carrera GT or the GT2. LOL
Some (most) people want a quality car for 80k not some Japanese car with a plastic interior. This is why people with Ferraris would rather spend 200k on a F430 rather than a corvette and mod the hell out of it. It's not only about speed.Originally Posted by Magnus213

also remember that only a small percentage of the people that own porsches EVER take them to the track. Kinda like on here where people talk about modding their car and whatnot yet they have NEVER been on a track....
S2000 CR that's coming is a perfect example. The difference will be negligable on the street no matter how hard to mash the gas pedal... but on a track the difference is night and day. On the street it's more about hp... hp does not = fast lap times.
Yup, and from what I've heard from Top Gear, Road and Track and Car and Driver is that the 997 tt isn't as good as they expected on the track but on the street, they all said it's brilliant.Originally Posted by R_Rated
