I had a run in with Suwannee Cops near there (you said 985, right? I was on Sattelite Running Parallel to 985). I was stopped at a traffic light, no revving nothing. My friend was coming to a rolling stop, however the light turned green.....

I hit the gas, he gets on it (not flooring it by any means). We both have louder exhausts (still under legal limit) and they tried to get us for racing...funny shit is they tagged him going well under 60mph and I never broke 50. They arrested him none the less, cussed me out after turning of their radios too. What a bunch of fucking pigs those guys were. They left fingerprints all over my damn car and they arrested my friend for NOTHING. Wreckless driving.....my ass. He even used his blinker to change lanes and get infront of me, he didn't even see the damn cop. They cited him for 4 bald tires, funny thing is, his tires are stickier then mine.

Goodluck on a speedy recovery to you two as well as getting this guy man, I'm sure the cops will help you out once they realize you were not racing, if they ever get that through their damn heads. Thats some ultimately fucked up shit, take that cop to court as well as the STi driver. Make sure he won't be anywhere near anytihng but a Honda Civic LX for the next 20 years untill he can handle something more powerful.
