Default Pics of My 1988 4Runner

Purchased in Nov. 2005 bone stock. 3.0L and Auto Tranny with 199913 miles on the ticker.

Dec. 2006, I finally have enough money to purchase all my lift accesories and locker.

Out wheeling a little bit with the new 4xInnovations sliders from WabFab.

    Bikini Kit Installed...

I have big plans for the 4Runner this summer.
    They include
    1 - 4.88 gears front and rear.
    2 - BudBuilt Crossmember/skidplate for tranny/transfercase
3 - ARB AirLocker up front
    4 - Possibly a JDM 3.0 with 25-35k miles on it.

Its 1.5" BJ (Ball Joint) Spacers, Downey Off-Road 3" Rear Leafs, Downey Shackles, and Downey T-Bars so all in all about $700 then the Shocks made it around $900.

    Nic pics.

I like how on the first gen 4runner you can make it a truck. Not really feeling the bikini top though.

Whoa, so you could remove the shell on those old 4Runners? Awesome...haha.

Your truck looks great man...and those are some pretty cool pictures. I'm a car-guy myself, but you gatta admit...off-roading's tons of fun. My buddy just got a Frontier and he's planning some stuff on it. It's a 4x2 though, so he's thinking more pre-runner style than a mudding truck.

Anyway, awesome truck...and welcome to IA.

New ones are still awesome off road...and that's where they need to stay. Haha, they're so uncivilized on-road.

I don't like how they look though, and visibility is terrible.

Well if you take about a 3 hour drive (depending on where youre at) you can get to Upper Tellico OHV Park. It is about 15 miles north of Murphy, NC. I have heard of Dallas, Geogia having some really good trails as well. GA also has a few good OHV Parks of its own.
