Default tein, helen, and a subaru

So today i decided to go up to helen to get away from all the bs. Also gave me a chance to try out my new Tein S-techs. Needless to say i got a little side tracked-lol

I really like them. The drop was perfect and it handles great. From the get go the car needed a RSB so i can notice it even more now. Once i get a RSB i think ill be very happy! But i will be upgrading struts eventually. The ride is close to stock, dont notice any difference till i go over a series of bumps.

If I searched nasioc long enough I could find hundreds of complaints.

too low, too soft is what the gurus say.

the drop looks sick but the springs sacrifice handling for looks.

let me drive your wagon and I'll be the judge! you can drive mine and see how the prodrives feel...never felt the s-techs myself so I'm just repeating what seems to be the overwhelming feedback online

Sure thing, you can drive mine. Most sedan owners that have driven mine are suprised at how my wagon feels. They even ask if I have sways , links, etc. I dont.

The springs might not be great for road coursing or auto-x, but that's not what Im making my car. What performance do you have done so far? Im looking for a good run sometime, since I just got some goodies done.

I would have to agree with you on the reviews. On the legacy forums you find a lot of complaints as well. But the more i searched the more people i found that liked them. The majority of complaints were ride quality and height. Which for me, they put it where i want it, and as for ride quality..........you gotta sacrafice something for better handling. I think the majority of reviews come from up north where the roads are just horrible. As far as soft i thought the same thing but when drove it i was very impressed. Much better handling improvement over stock. Once i get my new set of tires (bridgestone RE01R) I think they will be GREAT!!! And for $189 with free shipping. I couldnt have got a better deal.

Car looks good man! I love these cars.

I have Stechs on my WRX and they're okay...

Great for how inexpensive they are!
