    you were the only black mx-3 out there right? running with the white and teal ones, if that's you then pretty sure you ran touring laps both days...and i made sure to get pics of you, didn't even shoot the other two I was at turn 6 & 7 during the touring laps Sunday shooting with the chick.

    I didn't pay much attention to the touring laps Saturday, there was 400 cars out there wasn't there?!!! I don't know about anyone else but that's not fun...i can drive like that in a parking lot without any legal issues The last time I did touring laps I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd gear in turn 12 at 90mph on street tires then hitting 125 between the start and T1. Then running about 130-135 in the back stretch at T9 (lifted, didn't trust the tires). Doing that with a Carrera GT and few other cars for 45 minutes is what touring laps should be

    Yeah the touring laps this year sucked. Last year we were able to run the course pretty much as fast as we felt comfortable going.

    This year, they kept stopping and making us wait. Took forever.


    Sandbagging helped though and we did get some fun runs in.

    shit i only went out there to feel the track and see how it looks now that it has been repaved. plus i didnt pay anything to go out there and we (the vettes) went out first did 2 laps and came back in. i could drive around the infield faster than the touring laps.
    -IA MGMT is inappropriate.

    was there all three days!!! Man it was a blast. Tim i saw what looked like your black vette in the parade laps..sounded like it too. Mike i saw your miata near turn 5 as well as the miata section at 10...i was the douche wearing the "texas" cut off shirt lol. highlight of my day was getting to see the Ariel Atom. what a freakin sweet car!!
