I can't tell if I like it or not..
the drums will not be there forever.... the paint is just a temporary fix to the rust and the "oldness" to everything up under there. i have had the car since 2004 and trying to keep it looking fresh![]()
at least the drums werent painted red...drums FTW haha

lol @ rust on a 2005(?) civic
but it looks fresh, I'd rock it.
2004.... yeah i am about to hit 90000 miles lol
looks aight...i would have tried to take the parts off and done it the right way..sanding , paint, clear...its gonna chip off as time ticks by....
i used about 4 coats of High Temp engine paint. Its my daily driver so i expect it all to chip and fade.... i'll prob just respray everything once a month or before shows. everything was dry in less than an hour w/ a high speed shop fan blowing on it.Originally Posted by Nittanys1
I also notice the paint is dripping.....
yup sure was... after i got done i backed it out in the sun and let it sit for an hour. pulled it back in and applied another coat then stuck the shop fans on there. everything looks real clean... can't see any flaws unless you get up underneath it and actually look real hard. I'll admit i did it fast and out of boredom to clean it up. I drive 60mi a day and construction on every street im on... i dont expect them to stay clean.Originally Posted by Nittanys1
It's a bit of overkill if you ask me. I'm a fan of red suspension too, but not red painted oem stuff. But good job on the painting.
