Default new wheels for the 240

finally stepped up to some 18's with a decent lip

first picture is before i pulled the rear fenders to get rid of the rubbing. after the pull i dropped the rear about another 1/2" to even things out a little more.

nice...i thought your car was blue? Now you need to roll the front fenders so you can drop the front even more...

fronts are rolled, there are plenty of other things rubbing at the moment up there when i'm at full lock so i need to do a little tweaking for full steering angle with no rub.

the car was blue a long time ago. after getting hit and doing the silvia front i did that roller paintjob just to get it covered up.

i could've gotten them in black, but i'm just not a big fan of the black car with black wheels. my next set will be chrome .

they went to a good place. and they were gold dammit, gold. same color these might end up actually . i think these wheels fit the hotrod personality of the car more than the old ones.

and yes, i would love some bubble flares but i can't afford that type of wheel, they would cost more than the car.

225/40 front and 245/40 rear currently, but i'll be likely going up to a 255/35 rear when i buy some more tires.

Is that the same wheel as Batlgrounds 240's?

If ya really wanted to go for an identity crisis you coulda got that cobra's R's with a deep polished lip for around $500 a set..nissan, chevy engine, ford wheels...who cares

I did find a set of black Z06 wheels too that would prolly have been pretty hot

nope, theirs are privats. somewhat similar but not the same design.

i originally ordered some FR500's but decided against them for now. i'll probably end up with a set or two of the mustang replicas eventually, but something about these i like a lot more.

Z06 replicas won't work, vettes have high ass offsets +50 or more .

18''s upfront hurt. Start the cutting and grinding. Maybe switch to a wider 17 up front later on.

wheel size doesn't matter...it's the outside tire diameter and width you want to keep similiar to original. If you go up a wheel size then you go down a series in the tire, no problem
