    Default Horrific audi Rs6 crash

    f>from the news link
What you see is what you get, i.e. there was no cutting of the vehicle prior to the pictures being taken.
It is my brother-in-law that you see holding the mobile phone, he honestly doesn't know the speed that he was going at but wasn't near as fast as he has done in the past on that particular part of the road.

Although the road was completely dry he said that it felt he was on ice and the car just careened into the tree. He actually called the emergency services and climbed out of the car by himself, he spent only a couple of hours in hospital, apart from a few minor scratches he got a bandage around his little finger, I told him if he's not already religious he should take it up ASAP!

The car WAS a pristine RS6 ABT, I was supposed to pick it up that very day to borrow it from him for a week as I've always wanted to try out the ABT version. He really should have simply told me that he didn't want me to drive his car I'm so happy he is alive and all in one piece.

that car must have had the most advanced seats EVAR. there is like 900 wires going to passenger seat.

    seat options
    heat
    super heat
    cool
    icebox cool
    90 way seat control
    stage 1-5 massager
turns into a waterfountin if ur thirsty
    talks
will give u high five if u drift good
    morphs into a lap top.

    hence all the wires
And miles to go before I sleep,

um ok. try hitting a tree at that speed in your accord. youd be dead.. o wait, your accord cant reach those speeds.

not trying to be a dick, but you cant bash on german engeneering. at those speeds its normal that it ends up like that after hitting a tree.

omg he is lucky. thank god there were no passengers. the drivers seat was the only one survivable in the car. if he was a couple feet off from where he hit, he would have made him a good candidate for rotten.com

If some of you knew how a car is actually contsructed and how much industrial adheasive (glue) is used in the areas that the car was split you would actually understand that the split is more than likely a result of localized pressure in a weaker area of the car. A car weighing nearly 4,000 lbs does not have to be going over 100mph to split depending on the impact, period.

Also, look at the road. He stated he traveled it often and it was wet that day. There is a slight uphill followed by a curve.
