Yeah, this thread is in need of an update, so here we go. With the warm weather upon us and the work schedule getting better, she'll be at many of the local meets and shows

    Session 050 (September 09, 2007)

    One of the grounds...

    Pop's installing the ground:

A couple brackets not needed and removed from the K20a2:

Spark plugs that were in the K20:

    Torquing the new plugs:

Used these to cap off various nipples:

    Free rental at Auto Zone:

    Mad Torque:

    Session 051 (September 10, 2007)

    Cutting the lower radiator hose:

Pop's was finally happy with the fitment after this many cuts:

Wires on the conversion harness you splice into: (I will be back with the info on these wires)

Sneek peek of pop's on the grill

Inside working on putting the rear hatch back together:

    PITA removing:

You can see how chewed up this thing became from trying to remove during the tear down:

A wore out, tired, yet determined guy

Late nights FTW or FTL. Man, we put in some serious hours the last 2 weeks

Pop's got camera happy. Me trimming the stock coolant overflow bracket:

    Pop's installing the bracket:

    Fuse box power wire:

Trimmed fuse box power wire (space is limited in the box):

    Valve cover ground:

Checking continuity with the power wire:
    Alternator power goes to ______
Starter power goes to _____ (I'll be back with the answers)

    Session 052 (September 11, 2007):

    Longer fuse box bolts:

    Old vs. New:

Another ground wire in the making:

    Heatshrink:

    Installed:

Pop's working on the lower radiator hose wiring:

I could only watch, so I just took pics:

(HASport adapter is most likely going to be coming out soon though. Going to put the 2 sensors where they are supposed to be )

This is why I like my father working with me. He takes pride not scratching anything and installing parts as if it were his car

    Pretty damn tidy:

Hybrid Racing conversion harness under the driver side dash:

    Wiring up the radiator fan:

    Soldered & Heat shrinked EVERYTHING:

    Harness mounts to the fan:

    ...after a little modification:

    Installed:

    Closer look:

    Pop's working the seat harness:

Nasty ECU bracket I no longer use:

    Cleaned them up anyhow:

    Drilling the harness eye bolts:

    BaconLettuceTomato comes through

What I was in need of:

    Pop's doing some fabricating:

That's it for now!! Will post one more large group which will close out the build up to Nopi 2007. Then the rebuild after the rebuild starts

    Thanks for looking
