My house is bigger than a couple in the picture and it cost $540k after working them down.........but it's NOWHERE near the size of the house in the background lol! 4 fockin floors! The houses on that street aren't near 1mil though unless it's just a kickass neighborhood/area!

Meh, my parents house was high 500's and it has 3 floors + finished basement, so I doubt that's 1 mil. 500k houses in my area look like some of these in the backgrounds
One on the right is only 3 floors but has a back exit to the basement which leads to a pool and lanscaped hill that goes down to the next cul de sac, and the one on the left has a finished 800 sq ft retracting screen deck they just had built last spring. PS ignore the car lol.

So wait car does his "dad" drive? And houses like those in LA would cost well over 1.5-5 million. 500,000 gets you an ugly run down house nowadaiz in Cali. Heck my parents sold a one story house for 850,000 and the other house I used to live in which we bout in 94 for 500,000 was close to 1 million and that was only 2 story. The house we live in well there askin now 1.2 million but shit I dont want to move. I want to stay here but no they want to move to sugarloaf....which I have no clue why. Subdivisions are alll the same to me.

Crazy Asian thats because real estate prices in LA are fucking crazy. So are the ones in Seattle. When I moved here 5 years ago we had like a 2 story 2600 sq ft house on 1/3 or less acres and it sold for 380+k in less than 1.5 weeks of putting it up on the market lol. Now that house is appraised for roughly 550k because of the overdevelopment in the area (we still know the people who bought it from us). An increase in value of $30-40k a year is fking nuts.

this was the same thing I thought. I still like the car though. as far as the cribs its all about location. I saved about 150k by buying in union city in stead of fayetteville. after negotiations we spent 237k for a 4100 sq ft with a full basement (1200 sq. ft.)
