Val for President

nice pictures I think I've seen that same place in some photos that George took of his Cougar a long time ago
Which place? the warehouses? those were just built and finished like 2 weeks ago.
Just off of Barrett Parkway.

what kind of lens were you using?
Steven
'99 GMC Sierra Z71
I switched back & forth between the stock (sony) 18-70mm and a 70-210mm (minolta)

What street were you on where the cop passed?
It is a wierd little road just off of Barrett Parkway across from Zaxbys and near the QT.

ahhhhhhhh
i was wondering where that hill was, i knew i had seen it before

nice pics, nice car
i'm liking that alpha but still not liking the prices of it's lenses, haven't priced the minolta's though.
photoshopped a couple to bring out the color and vibrance a little more...
Thanks- those look great.
Yeah I didnt edit them at all- just stright to the web.
Which tool did you use to adjust the image? Color balance? Contrast?
Looks like contrast was bumped up a notch. I was a bit hesitant to mess with that because the car is black already and bumping the contrast loses the detail in the shadow areas.
Thanks though- those look great.

BTW- you can get older MInolta lenses for cheap from KEH and from ebay.
I got my 70-210mm from KEH and I love it. I have a 100-300mm but havent used it on the alpha yet.

very little contrast change...you can click Image - Adjustments - Auto Contrast for an easy way to see what it looks like (Auto Color doesn't always work too well though)Originally Posted by atlantamx3
The only thing I did on them was Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation - 20-30+ and Filter - Sharpen - Unsharp Mask - 20%, 1.5%, 5
What's the very best glass minolta makes? anything anywhere near the quality of canon's L's?!Originally Posted by atlantamx3

hrmm....looking at this 300mm & their equivalent 200mm, not too bad of a lens!

Holy Shite thats a huge lens! I bet it costs a mint.

oh- I forgot all about the saturation tool I meant to include that too.
But what does the unsharp mask do?
