get a jdm b16 with 170 hp for 1k instead, sorry man i have a b16 and had a b17, and i would take the b16 any day, i can smoke my old gsr with a 99 civic with the jdm b16. i may have a friend who may buy this, his b17 is knocking and it will go into a 92 gsr. i will let you know

I keep saying that I'm negotiable, but no one wants to put an offer on the table. I'm eager to sell this. I had a b16 before I got my GSR - I hated the b16 even with all the mods. I liked the b17 more . . . just my personal taste.

Things to consider, this motor has been freshened up with new seals. It doesn't smoke. You're getting an aftermarket header.

I'm also very willing to work out partial trade for things. I need a flywheel and clutch, could also use some gsr head studs, some oversized pistons pref. high c/r, etc.

you guys are all WRONG.

a B16 longblock is $1000 anywhere you look for it. Most of them are RAGGED out, high mileage, need valve guides etc. Remember the OBD0 LONGblock are AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD.

the B17s are RARE, usuing a one of a kind crankshaft that honda manufactured for only 2 years. they use different rods, and are lower compression (9.7:1 IIRC)

I think this one for $1200 obo is a steal, considering it is in good shape, with rebuilt parts. Plus, it has an aftermarket header which is worth $100.

btw i really want the bottom end, but i would not part that motor out at all if i were you, put it on ebay and someone who wants a true 92 gsr motor will pay what you want for it. my friend has no cash to buy it from you right now, so its a no go from him.
